A stable IP connection at the hotel TV
TV channels over IP require a reliable network connection in every room, directly at or close to the hotel TV.
LAN connection at the TV
Ideally, a working LAN connection is available directly behind or next to the hotel TV.
Stable hotel network
Switches, VLANs, bandwidth and network design must support reliable TV operation.
Compatible hotel TVs
Model, age and technical compatibility of existing devices are checked in advance.
No LAN in the room?
IP over Coax uses the existing TV cabling
If a coax cable already reaches the hotel room, it can often be reused as a modern IP connection. This avoids new LAN cabling, dust, noise and extended room downtime.
